Process Engineering Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Process Engineering Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes, particularly in photolithography, etching, and wafer cleaning. This role is critical in driving process optimization, maintaining production quality, and supporting operator training within our fab environment.
Responsibilities:​

Develop, optimize, and monitor semiconductor fabrication processes, with a focus on photolithography, dry/wet etch, and wafer clean processes

Utilize characterization tools such as SEM, EDS, ellipsometer, and profilometer for process evaluation and troubleshooting

Define, document, and maintain clear work instructions for operators and engineering teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address process issues and implement improvements

Provide training and technical support to operators, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Requirements:​​

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an industrial semiconductor fabrication environment

Hands-on experience with photolithography, dry/wet etch, and wafer clean processes

Proficient in characterization methods, including SEM, EDS, ellipsometer, and profilometer

Demonstrated ability to define and prepare work instructions for production teams

Strong communication and teamwork skills
